Lunch Time Sessions

Let’s have lunch together!

Monthly Peer-sharing sessions to build our community and learn from each other.

From January the monthly peer-sharing sessions are a coming together with people who share a similar vision and may face similar challenges to you, the opportunity for mutual support and learning, and a chance to consolidate the community and think about how we continue beyond the lifetime of the training funding.

These informal lunchtime sessions complement the capacity-building workshops by sharing real on-the-ground experiences, but are also a chance to respond to current challenges within the community as they arise or common problems that network members face.

What is clear from talking to network members is that many people are under pressure and overstretched, something that is unfortunately often part and parcel of working, or volunteering, in organizations that are understaffed and under-resourced, and working on things that we are passionate about and deeply committed to. Mental and physical burnout is something we need to be aware of and address. Isolation can also be an issue. So let's have lunch together.
